Makkah Restaurant, a family-owned business for more than 30 years in the Greater Toronto Area, on the busy street of Danforth Avenue, is serving its customers with South Asian cuisine from India, Pakistani, and Bangladesh with aromatic spices and fresh ingredients, that take your taste buds on an adventure.
Named after the Islamic Centre of the World and located right across the street from one of the eldest established Masjid, and being Muslim owners, all the meat on our menu (chicken, beef, lamb, goat) are 100% halal.
We specialize in tandoori dishes with our authentic tandoor ovens and produce the tastiest grilled meats (ie, whole chicken, chicken tikka, lamb, beef, behari, chicken kababs, tandoori flavored fish), to go with our various flavorful naans. Along with our tandoori dishes, we provide various authentic saucy cuisines with limited oil for healthy caution (butter chicken, chicken/beef/lamb karahi, nihari). And not to forget our mouth-watering rice dishes, mainly known as Biryanis. And to cater to our vegetarian customers, we do also serve authentic vegetarian cuisines (mixed vegetables, paneer, daal, eggplant, and so forth). Our restaurant provides all services which cater to our customers, from sit-in, take-out, and delivery services by many well-known food delivery companies. We also provide catering services to our customers with our special catering menu which can be customized to our customer’s request.
